A community-rooted project built through trust.
Salaam Square grew from the success of the 1800 Block into a larger vision for the mosque campus and its surrounding properties. Studio Abri attended service, met community members, studied Islamic precedents, and worked to understand the culture before representing it architecturally.
A contemporary language with historic roots.
Color, geometry, mural work, and façade updates create continuity across the campus while allowing the project to keep evolving over time.
